Break Bulk is the process of separating bulk load into individual shipments, which are then transported separately in bags, boxes, drums, etc. since it is too big to fit in a standard shipping container. Shipping break bulks usually take more time than shipping the commodity altogether in standardized containers because each shipment needs to be loaded and unloaded using special equipment.
