Commodity Code
?

A Commodity Code is a code used to describe and classify commodities or a group of commodities. It can be a sequence made up of 6, 8 or 10 digits and is used to determine the duties and other charges to be levied on the goods, preferential treatment to be applied to the goods and restrictions that may apply to the transit of goods.
