Dunnage

Dunnage is the packaging material used to prevent damages to goods during loading and transportation. Usually made of timber, dunnage helps keep the containers in place during transport and makes handling these goods easier. Dunnage can be of 3 types, kit packs, customs dunnage and multi-material varieties. Kit packs are used to hold all the parts of a specific product in a single container. At the same time, customs dunnage is designed to meet the customer's specific requirements, and multi-material varieties are constructed using different shipping materials like cardboard and styrofoam.
