Notify Party

A Notify Party is an individual, organization or entity that the carrier must notify once the cargo or shipment arrives at its destination. In most cases, a freight forwarder, customs broker or any other intermediary acts as the notify party to facilitate customs clearance and prompt delivery of the cargo.
